Wiper-Proof Focus Lock
Every consumer dashcam app hunts for focus when wipers sweep the lens — blurring the road in the rain. Ridgeline locks focus at infinity by default, with a live manual focus slider. The wipers pass; the road stays sharp.
Night Exposure Lock
Oncoming headlights make auto-exposure pump and flicker, washing out plates. One toggle freezes exposure where you set it — steady footage from dusk to dawn.
HEVC / H.265 Recording
Half the storage per hour at the same quality. Ridgeline verifies your device has a capable hardware encoder before enabling it, and falls back to H.264 automatically — no choppy surprises.
Burned-In Evidence Stamp
Time, speed, and GPS coordinates written into every recorded frame. When footage becomes evidence, the proof travels with the file to insurers, police, or any player on any device.
Pre-Event Protection
When the G-sensor detects an impact, Ridgeline locks the current clip and the previous one. The minutes before impact are protected from loop deletion, guaranteed.
True Resolution Control
Reads what your camera actually supports. Pick from the real list — 4K to 480p — with bitrate tiers (Eco / Standard / High / Max) so you choose the balance of quality and storage.
